Cost control for roaming use abroad is activated by default for new postpaid customers with a monthly cost limit of CHF 0. This means that no chargeable roaming services outside the option are possible (incoming calls included).
The limit can be adjusted in your myCHmobile account.

FAQs
How will I be informed about roaming costs when abroad?
Whenever you are abroad, we will send you an info SMS with the rates applicable in the country of stay. You can switch the receipt of roaming info SMS on or off at any time with the key combination *135# and call key.
How will I get notified when my roaming package is used up?
When reaching 50% and 100% of the set limit in your myCHmobile account, an SMS info will be sent for cost control. After reaching the cost limit, no further chargeable roaming services can be used at the standard rate. However, roaming options can still be booked.
The roaming cost limit includes the roaming costs incurred in a calendar month without the charges for roaming options. Under certain circumstances and depending on the country in which surfing takes place, there may be a delay between the generated roaming volume and the sending of the warning SMS or the blocking of data traffic.
Do callers have to pay extra when they call me while I'm abroad?
If someone from Switzerland calls your Swiss mobile number while you are abroad, they do not pay any roaming charges. They are charged their usual rate for calling a Swiss number, according to their subscription or tariff plan.
Do I have to pay for incoming calls while abroad?
Yes, unless your subscription or a roaming option includes free incoming calls in the country where you are currently located. Otherwise, standard roaming charges apply to incoming calls received while you are abroad.
Does it matter if the caller is using a mobile phone or a landline?
No, it does not matter. Whether the caller is using a mobile phone or a landline, they will always pay their regular domestic rate in Switzerland when calling a Swiss number. The recipient abroad may incur roaming charges for receiving the call.
