You can easily transfer your number free of charge – and CHmobile will even take care of cancelling your old contract for you. When ordering your CHmobile subscription online, you can select ‘Keep number’ during the ordering process and you will be guided through the steps. If you currently have a prepaid SIM card, follow the instructions here to port your number.

No, your contacts won’t be transferred to the new SIM card automatically.
If your contacts are saved on your device or in a cloud account (like Google or iCloud), you’ll keep them even after changing the SIM.
If your contacts are stored directly on your old SIM card, they won’t move to the new one. You’ll need to copy or export them to your phone or cloud account before switching.

Yes. You will have mobile phone and internet reception throughout Switzerland. The network is provided by Sunrise Switzerland, which operates one of the country’s largest and most advanced mobile networks. Sunrise offers extensive 4G and 5G coverage across Switzerland, including in most rural and mountainous areas, so you can expect reliable mobile and internet connectivity almost everywhere you go. The CHmobile Plus plans includes roaming data within Europe (Zone 1). For other plans, for international calls as well as calls abroad, additional charges apply per minute. You can find details about included countries and roaming rates here.
If you plan to use your phone abroad, we recommend adding a roaming package in your account after subscribing.

Of course. During the order process, you can select whether you would like to receive a physical SIM card, sent to you by post, or whether you prefer an eSIM.
